REFUND POLICY

At Mimi's Soul Cafe, every order is prepared with care and made from the heart. We want every customer to have a wonderful experience. Please read our refund policy carefully before placing your order, as different policies apply depending on the type of order.
1. Ready-to-Order Items
No Refunds on Ready-to-Order Items.
Due to the nature of food preparation, all ready-to-order items are non-refundable once the order has been placed and confirmed. We do not offer cash refunds or credits on these orders.
However, if there is an issue with your order, we will make it right:

If your order was prepared incorrectly or does not meet our quality standards, we will remake the item at no additional charge.

You must contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order to report any issues.

Photo documentation of the issue may be requested.

Remakes are subject to availability and may require a new pickup or delivery arrangement.
We do not offer remakes or replacements for orders where the issue is based on personal taste preference. We encourage all customers to review our menu and ask questions before ordering.
2. Catering Orders
Catering orders require a deposit at the time of booking to secure your event date. Refund eligibility on your deposit depends on when you cancel relative to the date your catering order was placed.
A. Standard Catering Orders (Booked 120+ Days in Advance)
The following refund schedule applies to catering orders placed at least 90 days before the event date:
Cancellation Timing Deposit Refund
Within 30 days of placing the order Up to 75% refunded
60–90 days after placing the order Up to 50% refunded
After 90 days of placing the order No refund
B. Short-Notice Catering Orders (Needed in Less Than 90 Days)
Non-Refundable Deposit.
If your catering event is needed in less than 90 days from the date the order is placed, the deposit is strictly non-refundable. This is due to the immediate preparation, sourcing, and scheduling required to fulfill short-notice catering requests.
By placing a short-notice catering order and submitting a deposit, you acknowledge and agree that no refund will be issued under any circumstances, including cancellation or rescheduling.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to mimissoulcafe@gmail.com.

The cancellation date is determined by the date we receive your written cancellation request.

Rescheduling a catering event is not guaranteed and is subject to availability. Rescheduled events may be treated as a new booking.

Mimi's Soul Cafe reserves the right to cancel an order due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund of the deposit will be issued.
4. How Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds will be processed within 20-30 business days of the cancellation confirmation. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
